General Assembly

The General Assembly consists of two chambers, the House of Representatives and the Senate of Pennsylvania.

The House of Representatives consists of 203 Members representing districts of approximately 59,000 citizens. Members of the House serve 2 year terms.

The Senate of Pennsylvania consists of 50 Members, each of whose district contains approximately 240,000 citizens. Senators serve 4 year terms.
